The Three Paths of Yoga
I. Path of Action (Karma Yoga)
Karma Yoga is the 'path of action' a way to seek union with the divine by right action and service; but how does altruistic action relate to our inner personality and everyday life? A lighthearted and in-depth look at how action can be done with freedom and without creating mental fatigue.

II. Path of Devotion (Bhakti Yoga)
How does one open oneself to heart consciousness? Can there be an unbroken energy of Love between us and the Divine? This evening we present the path of devotion and what it means to cultivate Love for a higher altar. How does one live in the spirit of love with the divine and translate it into relationships in the world.

III. Path of Knowledge (Gyana Yoga)
This talk shows us the way to the divine through intellectual awareness and inner intuition. The non-dualistic (advaita) philosophy of Vedanta is incomplete without an understanding of this esoteric path. How does true knowledge about the self release us form the effects of bondage and help us live a life of enlightenment and profound awareness? By this understanding we can discover our own dormant potential and come to live with a new resourcefulness in our life.

Introduction to Vedanta
The spiritual side of Yoga deals with a deeper understanding of one's own true nature. While it encompasses the practice of asana, or yogic postures, it goes beyond the realm of the physical into the essence of human existence. Vedanta is a universal philosophy that can illuminate every aspect of our lives. This talk covers the basics of the Vedantic philosophy and its application in everyday life.

Meditation
This series is for anyone with a sincere desire to explore meditation practice. Shubhra's teaching will center on the ancient teachings of Vedanta and the fundamental logic and technique of meditation will be given. The participants will learn skills to develop a home meditation practice or to deepen their existing practice. There will also be group discussion and guided meditation.

Who Am I?
We live in this world with our relative identity and seek absolute happiness. What is the true meaning of our existence? What is our quintessential nature? This talk, explained through the wisdom of the Upanishad, focuses on inner Self-Knowledge and mastery which can enhance our life experience and awaken us to our real potential.

Mantras: Invoking the Divine through Chant & Prayer
The significance of mantras and how their chanting can increase our energy and restore physical and emotional balances. How to connect with the Divine though this practice is explained.
